Stoked to announce the return of the SDSFF and to kick it off with our meet and greet party for SDSFF 2013 Filmmakers, Press and Nautilus Pass holders alike. On tap for the evening is the World-Premiere of
BONZER: THE MOTHERSHIP by the Campbell Brothers and the launch of the Matt Beard’s ART WOMP: the blending of live art and music from Matt Beard, Joe Hodnicki and Skye Walker and photography by Gage Hingeley.
It must be seen to be believed.

ALASKA SESSIONS - Frederick Dickerson and Matthew McNeil

Mr. McCune sells his house and buys an old fishing boat to embark on an epic surf adventure. He and his eclectic crew travel up the isolated Alaskan coastline in the dead of winter. It’s cold, it’s dark, and these guys aren’t exactly pro-surfers, but in the words of one crew-member, “when your stoke is hot, you can endure a lot.”

DANIELLE BURT: CHAPTER TWO - Chris Grant

In the summer of 2004 Danielle Burt was involved in a motorcycle accident that left her with collapsed lungs, dozens of broken bones, six weeks in a coma, and ultimately, the loss of her right leg. After a lengthy healing and recovery process, Danielle's heart turned toward the ocean. After gathering some spare parts to create a functional "surf leg," she caught her first waves and was immediately hooked on surfing.
